Part Time Groundskeeping/Maintenance Position

Wolf Sanctuary of PA is seeking a motivated and hard-working professional with maintenance experience to join our staff as Groundskeeper. The Groundskeeper is expected to be energetic, capable, and efficient. The ideal candidate should be able to work outdoors for extended periods of time handling large machinery and equipment. This position is full time.
  • Lawn mowing and weed-whacking
  • Snow removal (winter)
  • Mechanical repairs on equipment and vehicles
  • Carpentry and welding
  • Stock freezers and help prepare raw meat for wolves
  • Other duties involved with general groundskeeping.

  • pleasant, honest, reliable, self-motivated, team worker, punctual, and neat with an ability to follow policies and work details
  • ability to stand for extended periods of time & lift 80lbs
  • ability to work in all weather conditions and work on a ladder as needed
  • high level of energy and efficiency
  • reliable and dependable
  • comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • ability to multi-task
  • respectful and caring nature for animals
  • willingness to learn new equipment.

  • General maintenance and groundskeeping skills
  • Experience working with large and small equipment and machinery
  • Welding and carpentry skills preferred
  • Farm Hand experience is a plus
  • Driver’s License (Required)
